This week's Sunday Seller Spotlights A Tea Leaf, an etsy artist selling fine art prints and photography. The palate is subtle and cool, and each piece has a vintage but also modern appeal. Check out a few of my favorite pieces in the shop:
I love that this artist creates miniature items from her art prints. This necklace, Nature thy Mind No. 5 Pendant Necklace, features the collage/ mixed media feel of her larger works. It maintains the mysterious quality of her pieces in that it is informed by nature, but the information is abstracted and reorganized to form a new image.
These wooden block pieces are my favorite item in the shop. I'm telling you, I'm a sucker for miniature art. They're so cute, and the way the artist photographs them using her hands and natural props both "cutens" (to coin a word) them by scale, and mocks their natural subjects. The best part? She activates all sides of the block, making it a true 3D object rather than a painting surface. I found this artist through her blog, A Tea Leaf Me, which is gorgeous! The layout and colors of her blog echo her art perfectly. Check it out.

I really like that print in the carved white frame! Thank you for showcasing beautiful art, which I would never have come across otherwise!
