What Inspires You: Interview with Romanov Art Studio.

1. Please tell us a little bit about what you do.


"I work with different art mediums and styles.  I have been drawing as long as I can remember.   At age 14 I began to paint professionally.  Now I'm married and my husband is an Illustrator and artist too.  We sometimes collaborate.  I love positive energy and belive that my oil paintings could bring it into every home."

2. Keeping our work fresh means constantly seeking new sources of inspiration. Where do you look to find it and/ or what kinds of sources most inspire you?


"I sell my oil and watercolor paintings in the galleries of Barcelona.   I love this city: it gives me so much inspiration.  My faivorite artist is Lovell Herrero.  Of course Spanish nature is unique; it has affected me."

3. Your paintings have a quality of fantasy or folk style to them due to the way that you paint and the subject matter. Please comment on your style a bit.


"I use this style to make my work fresh and more natural.  The color of the sky became most important in all of my paintings."
