You may remember this photo from our dinner celebration after our elopement back in February. As we prepare for our reception coming up at the end of the month I'm feeling very stressed & very swamped.
We're still knee deep in light renovations around the house. Our ambitious goal of being totally done with all of that before the Mr's parents come into town isn't quite coming together, but we're still working like mad. And of course there's cleaning the house, kitties getting their teeth cleaned tomorrow, my car getting fixed, last minute reception shopping & DIY projects, and eh...you know...life is just a mad house right now.
I've decided it's not worth it to try and keep working this week on top of all of that and completely stress myself out. So friends, I'll be periodically checking in when I get the chance, but this will be my last blog post for June.
I hope this break will keep me somewhat sane, and I will be back in July!!

Good luck on all your endeavors. Remember that the most important project is your life. Live it as best as you can; do the best that you can but at some point, stop and smell the roses. Let things happen as we can’t control everything. A not so organized life, a family gathering, a celebration of a new beginning are what make life joyful.
