Business As Usual- I'm Finally Back In Action!

Hi all.  First, I want to thank you all for being patient with me as I ended up needing almost a month of blog break!  I thought I'd be able to return to my regular blog schedule once everything with our reception was over and we were back in town, but that's just not how it worked out!

Once we got back into town, my in-laws & niece stayed here through the 10th of July.  My niece is 8, so we packed our days full of going to the pool, visiting museums, going to the park, baking, and I even took them into D.C. for a day to see the Natural History Museum.  It was a lot of fun, but also very exhausting as having house guests for that long goes.

Once they left, I cracked a beer and surveyed the damage.  We still had piles of wedding gifts & other things from the reception I had to deal with.  So I decided I'd just extend my "blog-cation" and take a few personal days to celebrate my birthday (the 11th), get the house back in order, exchange gifts, return unused party stuff, write thank you's, and the like.

Now that those things are out of the way I plan on picking up where I left off!  The rest of this month I'll reveal some photos from our reception, continue with my Project Sewing 101 weekly giveaways,  get back on track with Project Sewing 101, and give my sponsors some much needed love.  Stay tuned!
