Hi friends: welcome to a very special edition of Friday Finds. I am typically not very into sports, nor very patriotic. However, EVERYTHING CHANGES for me come the Olympics, both winter & summer (but especially summer).
I was a competitive swimmer for many years, so have always followed that sport. I also tend to LOVE (watching & sometimes playing) all of those lesser televised sports that you only get to make a big deal about during the Olympics like volleyball, badmitten, etc. So please forgive me if I am not as attentive to blogging for the next few weeks as the TV will likely be the background of ALL of my activities for a while!
Anyone else out there feel the same?

We don't watch much of the Olympics, but if I happen to catch a sand volleyball match, it's hard to drag me away! I can't believe two girls can cover an entire court! And the gymnastics are always awesome!
Fun collection! I love those vintage figurines!!! I am not too into sports but if gymnastics is on I love to watch! That was my sport growing up. :) Enjoy this summer's games!
Great Olympic finds! We watch some of it but since we have to get up so early and the good stuff isn't shown until after 10pm, we don't see a whole lot. I'm sure we'll see highlights though!
Cool finds! I love those Olympic bracelets! I wouldn't say I'm a sporty person, but I like watching gymnastics and diving!
I'm in front of the TV during both summer and winter Olympics! Love it! My faves for summer are gymnastics, diving and swimming! And there's just something cool about the discus throw! Great finds -- love the little plastic guys!
I do love that they show a lot of less-televised sports like archery or ping pong or whatever. My favorite is always the gymnastics (those girls are so intense!) and my boyfriend likes track and field so we'll definitely be watching! :)

Man, I'm SO READY. I plan on watching every single minute of action, but my favorites are gymnastics and track.

I don't follow a lot of sports, but I really enjoy the Olympics--especially the winter sports, gymnastics, tennis...and table tennis! Great Olympic-themed finds!
I enjoy watching the Olympics too. And I was a swimmer, so that holds a special place in my heart too. I'm not too much of a sports watchers, except for basketball. So graceful! {:-D

I LOVE the Olympics, too! both Winter and Summer. I don't watch much sports, don't normally care that much. But like you, with the Olympics, it's totally different!
I ice skated some for a number of years (for fun only), so I love that sport.
During the Olympics, I find myself enthralled with many different sports Fun!
