Friday Finds: Nature
One thing I've been thinking about a lot lately, provoked by our amazing wedding reception at my Aunt's farm, is how much I've been missing being in nature lately. As you know, I'm a big hobby hiker, camper, and just love sitting under trees & looking at the sky in general. We've been so preoccupied with other activities lately that I haven't given myself a day to just relax and enjoy the summer outside!
I think I'll have to take a walk in the woods this weekend, or one, very, very soon....

Okay, nerd alert, but that stool makes me think of Lord of the Rings (which is always a good thing).
I've missed going on walks! We've been so busy for the last month that we haven't walked once. Bah!

I'm glad Jesse drags me out of the house almost every weekend so we can go boating, otherwise I tend to hide in my room and work all day!
I miss the rain! We had a little thunderstorm a few days ago, but it's so hot, it didn't help much. Can't wait for cooler weather! Love your picks! {:-D
I love hiking too and we sure did a lot this week! That stool is cool! Love the horse too!
We live out in the country, and we're surrounded by woods and lakes. I love the early morning hours when all I hear is birdsong :)

My parents want to give us their pop-up camper when they buy a new one. I wish we had room for it because it would be great to just go for a weekend to a park and let the kids experience what I did as a child. Nature is so much better than any theme park.
My husband and I are big hikers too. Fortunately we have lots of great places around here. When we go out of town, the first thing we do is check for the Internet for any near by State Parks, County Parks, or anywhere we can find hiking trails.
BTW...I really love that stool!!!
I love the peridot gemstones. I hope that you have a chance to get out for a walk soon! I have missed having unscheduled time on the weekends at home lately. Thankfully we got a little bit of it this weekend.
Beautiful nature inspired finds Nancy! That tree is amazing! Being with nature is one of the most simple things we can do that is so good for the soul. I hope you get some time to be with nature soon! Lately I miss being cooped up inside cooking a great soup on a Sunday. Cold weather is still a ways away!
Fun nature inspired finds. It is always nice to get out and take a break, I hope you get to spend the weekend outdoors soon. I miss everything, my world is all about making jewelry these days.
