Our Wedding Reception- Massive Photo Dump I.

Well ladies & gents, here it is.  After I made you wait a full MONTH to see any photos from our reception, here they are!  It took so long, because I was so busy with guests and running the party that I didn't even remember to take one single shot!  My mom & grandma sort of became the impromptu reception photographers though, which meant that I had to wait for them to do whatever they were planning with them (which turned out to be a really nice set of prints in a photo album & digital CD).

I thought I'd organize them into two massive photo- dump style posts.  Today's post will be the physical set up, and tomorrow's will show off the faces of the day- both people and animal:)

So without further ado, here is a photo tour of our reception set up in my Aunt's yard:

We rented a tent to house the food & longer eating tables.
Family chatting before the event.  Just to give you an idea of what the tables looked like.

Pool, to the tent, to the house- grey on the right in the background.

This is the "pool house" behind the pool.  It's a GORGEOUS little sitting room where
folks can sleep in the summer or change into their suits.

Bench under grapevines- behind the pool too.
Hanging out during the party.

We put little family tables & smaller groupings of chairs throughout the yard so that people could
choose where to eat & hang out.

Group in the front yard.

The side of the house has a lovely porch with french doors.  In the background you can see the volleyball net
we set up.  We also had badmitten equipment & toys & balls for kids out there.

Next to the porch I set up the guest sign in, favors, and gift table.

Some of you may recognize the album & sign in book we ordered from Edi of Memories for Life.

Off a bit in the side yard, my Aunt built this tree house out of 100% salvaged materials (dumpster dive style!)

Right in front of the tree house, they have a fire pit.  We spend the late night shift of the reception
hanging here making smore's and chatting.

And here I am cleaning up the day after.

Stay tuned- tomorrow I'll post photos of the folks who attended!
