This project sewing 101 project was cute & so much fun to make! I know it'll be even more fun to give away, as it's destined for a 3 year old birthday gift! They're animal hand puppets; a mouse, a bunny, and a kitty.

The toughest part was the little bit of hand work involved in making their hands accessible & open from the inside. I had to leave a gap in the side seams, and while the pupped was still inside out, insert the hand inside and sew around the edges several times by hand. This took a bit of time to do all 3 puppets, but it was worth it as they are so cute!

The book suggests an easy way to modify these puppets as just coming up with new ear designs. That sounds easy enough if I ever want to recreate them in the future.

VERY cute!!
We used to put a tension rod up in a doorway with a blanket over it to use as a "puppet stage." It worked great and the kids LOVED it. I'm sure whoever gets these is really going to have fun.

These are so cute Nancy!!! Any little kid would be in love with them. I love that they are an old fashioned toy to spark creativity too.
